The first session is mostly Ruchi listening. You share what's been on your mind — as much or as little as feels right. There's no fixed agenda. She might ask some questions to understand your situation better, but there's no pressure to have it all figured out before you arrive. Most people say the hardest part is just deciding to start.
That's more common than you'd think. You don't need to arrive with a clear problem or the right words. "I've been feeling off and I don't know why" is a perfectly valid place to start. Ruchi will help you find the thread.
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come because they're tired of feeling the same way, stuck in the same patterns, or carrying something they can't quite name. If something is bothering you enough to wonder whether you should get help, that's reason enough.
Yes, completely. What you share in sessions stays between you and Ruchi. The only exceptions are legally mandated situations — imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else — and even then, Ruchi would discuss it with you first. Your privacy is not optional, it's foundational.
It depends entirely on what you're working on. Some people feel meaningfully better after 8–12 sessions. Others find longer-term support more useful. Ruchi doesn't keep you longer than you need — and she'll regularly check in on how things are going.
A good friend listens. A therapist listens differently — trained to notice patterns, name things you might not have words for, and help you move through them rather than around them. There's also no history between you, no dynamic to manage, and nothing you say will change the relationship. That freedom changes what's possible in the conversation.

Yes — research consistently shows online therapy via video is equally effective as in-person for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and most other concerns. Many people actually find it easier to open up from the privacy of their own space. The most important factor is the therapeutic relationship, not the medium.
Yes. Ruchi works with people across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore, New Zealand, and other countries via secure video sessions. Sessions are in English or Hindi, and she schedules around international time zones. International payments are accepted.
Yes. Ruchi works in both English and Hindi. You can mix both languages mid-session — many people find that some things are just easier to say in Hindi. Whatever feels most natural to you.
A single session with Ruchi is ₹2,000. A monthly package (4 sessions) is ₹7,000, and an annual package is ₹75,000. Sliding scale fees are available if cost is a barrier — reach out and she'll work something out.
Ruchi checks in regularly on how things feel. If something isn't working — the approach, the pace, the fit — you can say so, and she'll adjust. And if at any point you feel you need a different kind of support, she'll help you find it. There's no pressure to keep going.
